Thank-you everyone; students, family, friends, teachers who spent the weekend with us or contacted us because you couldn't make it due to babies being born, birthday party, weddings and vacations. You have helped us open the studio and we thank you so much for sharing your spirit, happiness and support and in helping us raise funds for Together We Rise. More info on Soft Opening Event
Saturday evening is composed of an audio primary series class led by forty global Ashtanga teachers who came together to help raise money to reunite immigrant children with their families in the US. Ashtanga Dispatch has partnered with Together Rising, an organization that has jumped into action amidst this horrific atrocity, to provide funding for legal and other boots on the ground services. All of the funds we receive will go directly to help immigrant children and their families – to provide advocacy and representation in their processes of reunification. The organizations doing this great work are Kids In Need of Defense, Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services, and the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project.
